It’s been quite a while since our last post! Quite a while!! The hustle and bustle of picture season, maintaining the lavender patch, and enjoying quiet moments on the farm always seem to keep us busy! As the gorgeous purples of summer have now faded and our proverbial gates are closed for the season, Barry and I have been busy planning something new or if not new necessarily, something we have been wanting to revamp and share with you this fall and winter season.
For years, you’ve visited our little slice of heaven on the hill for the aroma of lavender and the opportunity to capture that perfect photographic moment. We absolutely LOVE being the backdrop for those precious life memories. But during the off-season we usually go a little dormant. However, this year our focus will be shifting!
Most of you who have visited with us know that we have tea, but we’ve not really put a lot of emphasis on it …now we’re excited to share with you that we have quite the TEA COLLECTION! More specifically …quite the tisane collection!
If you’re wondering, what is a tisane and where’s the lavender tea? Stay with me….
A tisane or infusion is a blend made up from fruits, flowers, and spices, and can consist of mainly herbs or it can be made up of traditional tea leaves (from the camellia sinensis plant).
